Cracking Aircraft Windows with Directed Sound Waves
Directed sound waves and harmonics maybe the answer to stopping manned aircraft in the battlespace on its way to find our blue force as its next target. Often flights with breaches in the pressurization system are forced to land or fly below twelve thousand five hundred feet where the oxygen percentages in the air are livable for humans. A weapon of this type, which can crack windshields of aircraft would deter manned aircraft from entering a safety zone containing our military or civilian assets. Such a weapon would be inexpensive to use and save millions of dollars in anti-aircraft missiles, which often fail to hit their mark when the enemy has sufficient counter measures. Recently a Delta Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing after the airplane's windshield cracked.

Static Electricity to Flap UAV Material Memory Wings
Not much, but enough energy to use to force a polymer muscle to contract. When an aircraft flies through the air it trades electrons due to the friction it creates. Think on this, because you will not be alone in those thoughts. All birds have very strong muscles, which flap their wings, we can make such a muscle out of polymer to do the same thing and then find the already known best ratio of flapping to airspeed and design this into the zapping propulsion system that we created. Then it immediately wishes to go back to its normal shape.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part II
If you will go to the Midland TX airport you will see many war birds and antique aircraft at the Confederate Air Force Museum, many of those types of aircraft are registered in the CAP and are used on missions. We went to watch missile launches at Vandenburg Air Force Base. When I was in the Boy Scouts explorers we went to Edwards Air force base and toured a B-1 Bomber a year after they came into existence. This meant we would have more pilots for military, airlines and the like. An issue I have currently with the newest pilots coming on board at airlines, who cannot really fly an airplane.

China is Starting to Build Military Fighter Trainers
This is the same manufacturer of the JJ-7 fighter trainer now being used in the Chinese Air Force. The first flight of this new aircraft was made in December of 2003 and mass production is expected to start by the end of 2005. These same aircraft are expected to flood the developing nations with fighter planes. There are already plans to have no less than 10 aircraft to be delivered by the end of the year, Chinese Year. China needs this aircraft to train it's pilots to fly the Su-27s and Su-30 Russian Fighters that they have ordered.

Automated Following Jump System for Paratroopers, AFJS
Due to the number of aircraft dropping and the number of paratroopers this data can also be sent back to the command and control of the Blue Force for tracking. As one aircraft goes in another follows in behind it. When paratroopers are deployed in the battlespace each GPS unit will have a buzzer allowing the parachute operator to know he is too close to the next nearest chute or that a chute is rapidly approaching his/her airflow. Once this technology is implemented in practice jumps that data can be set onto an ERSI platform and 3D grid to help in simulator training for troops, thus we can train more with less actual jumps and save the major injuries to our soldiers and risk deaths which can occur. This will improve safety in night jumps and under zero-zero visibility or near so.

Fighter Jet Trainers Sport Planes
The Mako could also be a fighter if needed for small countries to be their Air Force. This aircraft is long like the T-38 about 45 feet. They see this aircraft as an intro to the F-16 or F-22. In any case what a wonderful fun and cool aircraft to have as a sport plane. One such aircraft is the Mako trainer by Mercedes Benz.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part III
The act of crashing an airplane into a building is not excusable, but it is a sign that something is terribly wrong here, and not just in the mind of a young man who upset at the world for total disregard of the individual. So does IBM (read Big Blue) in there sales force and Xerox at PARC (read PARC Project) or on their sales teams (The Force. We made airport restrictions on general aviation hurting the boy's chances to get another free airplane ride in now and again. The real airline companies who care about their companies and are not looking only to manage stock, buy up weak competitors and consolidate, those airlines are giving customer service are doing fine. I am not saying that Teen Challenge, DARE or any of another dozen programs are not totally worthy efforts both in our time spent and the results yielded.

Tactile Strip Sensors on Leading Edge of Material Memory Airfoils
As the aircraft travels through the air faster the static air will be greater and that static air can provide pulse power to the material memory leading edge to force it to constrict and become thinner. Thus the aircraft does not need to compromise wing shape for fast and slow flight. Aircraft designers have always tried to figure out the best compromise for the aircraft they build, trying to get maximum performance at both high and low airspeeds. We should take this technology and apply it to the leading edge of aircraft wings to help us improve and enhance the performance without compromising the aircraft's abilities for STOL or higher True Air Speeds (TAS. Aircraft, which are cargo transports rely on STOL Capabilities and once airborne must conserve fuel and increase range for efficiency.

How to Overcome Jetlag
Because of the dry atmosphere aboard aircraft, Dehydration can also be a major problem. This will force your body to adjust to any new time zones far quicker. When the time permits, get up and walk around the aircraft. A travel neck pillow will assist in your sleeping, providing excellent head support. Sleeping onboard will not only help to pass the time, but can help you feel refreshed upon arrival.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part One
Glen Tierney later joined the Air Force five months later and left the business. Mark Daily became a businessman, Andrew Rice joined the Air Force. Lance after being forced to sell his third of the business went to work for Air Camarillo and started the Aircraft Sales Department determined to out-sell those gentlemen. This was in 1979 at Camarillo Airport (CMA) in California near the Coast above Los Angeles. After selling Speedy Waxers, Lance went to work for a local McDonald's as an employee, for Clay Passion, Franchisee, who owned a Beechcraft Debonair that Lance use to wash on a weekly basis.

Laser Beam Guidance for Oshkosh Air Show
The Federal Aviation Administration is devising a method of alerting pilots who enter a restricted airspace to leave immediately. Airplane Owners and Pilots Association states their position. Each year at Oshkosh Wisconsin is the annual Experimental Aircraft Association, the largest event of its kind in the world. According to NORAD officials, the ground-based laser system uses safety-tested low-level beams of alternating green and red laser lights to alert pilots that they are flying without approval in designated airspace. This system would be used when the aircraft in question cannot be contacted on VHF voice radio by ATC.

Increasing TAS in Modern Day Fighters with Expandable Wing Tips
The fighters we have today like the F-18 Hornet (Navy) and the F-16 Talon, F-15 Eagle (Air Force) have substantial fuselages which act as wings. Therefore at higher speeds the actual wings which stick out considerably on the aircraft are simply not needed and actually impede the aircrafts top True Air Speed (TAS. Once an aircraft travels above 450 Knots the fuselage starts flying. We are at the point that it is getting difficult to design an aircraft much faster. As the aircraft approached the speed of sound it would be completely retracted.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part Two
The Founder of LA Title company liked the synergy of aircraft sales and aircraft washing for built in clientele. They also discussed washing cars and trucks, but Lance had barely gotten a driver's license so he could finally drive off the airport onto a public street although he had picked up some juicy accounts already. Later he changed the name of the business to Aero-Auto Wash to encompass all types of washing, from Aircraft to Cars. Someone who owned an airplane most likely owned a business, was a farmer, high-ranking executive and if not certainly knew others who were. Both loved the idea, Lance because it was his dream and Dave because he loved the aircraft washing services, which he contracted through Lance after he bought the plane from him.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part I
People who had aircraft they bought leased them back to a flight school to afford the monthly payments. It worked good and lots of aircraft and lots of people learning to fly. At the airport he washed aircraft and he traded for pilots lessons. Read Airport Business, Flying, AOPA, Sport Aviation or Private Pilot, you will see. Yet the IRS came down on private pilots and aircraft owners for using it as a tax write off for fuel for their private planes.

Helicopters - The Multi Utility Machines
In 1948, NYPD (New York Police Department) placed its first helicopter into service, a Bell 47 D and since then there has been a significant evolution in Air Borne law enforcement. Another very important segment where vertical lift technology makes its presence almost inevitable is homeland security or law enforcement. They respond to accidents, coordinate disaster relief, make traffic surveys, fly Air Medical missions, track suspects and stem the growth and distribution of narcotics. It provides observers a platform to assess a situation and provide ground units and other aircraft a clear description of the problem and how to combat it. Its excellent visibility and the ability to fly low and slow, or hover and land make the helicopter the best patrol aircraft.

The Boeing 787 will have humidified air, so no more dry eyes during flights and because of its stronger composite cabin, it will leave the cabin pressure at 6,000 feet instead of 8,000 or 10,000 feet, meaning it is safer on the bio-system with more oxygen. (40,000 feet above sea level.

China is Starting to Build Military Fighter Trainers

What Causes Jet Lag?
Jet lag also increases with the number of time zones crossed during your journey. Jet lag is a common sleep disorder suffered by many millions of travelers every day, whether traveling on business or for pleasure.

A Look at Fractional Jet Ownership
Fractional jet ownership is a fairly new concept. That's not to say that private jet ownership is for everyone, however.

American Airlines; Crash: Nov. 12, 2001
It seems this episode in American Air Disasters History is a chapter that we did not have to see to fruition. We have performance and strict engineering principles mandated by natural laws governed by Mother Nature who could really give a darn what you do.

Overcoming Jet Lag
You may have heard that sleeping pills and other sleep aids are also effective tools for managing jet lag. Jet lag can be one of the worst, and certainly one of the most frustrating, aspects of long distance travel.
