Fighter Jet Trainers Sport Planes
In any case what a wonderful fun and cool aircraft to have as a sport plane. Many countries still are not exactly feeling good about buying the Korean T-50s. The US is now taking delivery of Raytheon's T-6A Texan 2 has the security of U. Now as a matter of fact I talked to a training pilot in San Antonio who said they were getting their first ones in last June. Many Aerospace consultants in Europe believe this aircraft may take the lead around the world as the trainer of place.

De Ice Boots Preventative Care
I remember an article in AOPA Magazine also touting the PBS product. Being that de-ice boots are a safety item many AI Mechanics will not sign off the annual if the boots look checked or old. If your de-ice boots look too far gone already try some floor wax and then PBS prep and then the sealant. Save you de-ice boots as they may save your life. I distinctly remember one day using floor wax and then having to climb onto the aircraft and sat on the well saturated de-ice boots I had just coated with lots of Floor Wax.

Fuselage Mounted Laser Vortex Enhancer Directed to Airfoils
We can use redirected or reflected laser cannon beams to increase stability in transitional flight situations to prevent departure of the aircraft from flight, by changing the air around the airfoils and control surfaces, Think about it. We need an off-shoot of this technology which is being tested by General Atomics and Lockheed to prove my concept will work. When not in use for evasive maneuvering the pole would retract into the nose of the aircraft. I further propose that this system would synchronize with the amount of air needed to maintain airflow needed in the intakes for air, wing lift and the thrust vectoring jets for stability. The F-15 might be another good candidate if it works as well as the math shows.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part I
It takes a lot of aircraft washes to pay for fuel and instructor and a plane for an hour these days. With a lease backed plane to an FBO an owner could also have the ITC-Investment Tax Credits on the purchase and then write off the payments. Yet the IRS came down on private pilots and aircraft owners for using it as a tax write off for fuel for their private planes. Others in his peer group and older people who understood his dreams to fly. This is something that the young man who flew into the B of A building was clearly missing.

Travel Tips:Tips for Safer flying
Other items such as sharp objects like knives and other seemingly benign objects have been targeted. The atmosphere in the cabin is pressurized to about the same as Denver altitude. Common sense should tell you that you shouldn't bring hazardous materials on the aircraft unless they were allowed by the airline and shipped in a proper container. Unauthorized materials that are not allowed are a list that seems to grow daily. If an attendant ask you to do something don't argue just comply.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part One
It was hard enough to get people to let him wash their planes at age 12 let alone sell planes at age 15. There was a time when if Lance could not cage the gyros and in a plane so he could do a spin or a barrel roll or in aerobatic aircraft do a loop or tail slide he just wouldn't fly. One day Mira shows up in an Italian Bi-Plane and asks Lance if he wants to go for a ride. Sometimes he would insist that every buyer fly every single aircraft on the line for sale and many that Lance had brokered agreements, before they were allowed to make and offer, sign a conditional sales contract or buy an airplane. He used dumb terminals and watts lines to send aircraft brokers updated listings.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part Three
In 1997 Lance Winslow met and hired Arthur Dickey the originator of Tidy Plane to work in product development. Tidy car tried to market Tidy Plane, but that didn't work to well without Arthur's devotion. Lance often wondered who was worse the government terrorist regulator lawyers or the actual Osama Bin Laden and company. Then as we started get going the FTC hurt many of our franchisees by attacking Car Wash Guys and then the other terrorists of 9-11 just about put the death blow in General Aviation, but aviation people are tough as they come and today the market sector is rebounding. Winslow has always been passionate about flying and aviation.

Budget Airlines - Cheap Airfares for Flights around Europe can Reduce Your Vacation Costs
As the plane fills up the ticket price rises. Check budget airline websites regularly for special offers where you can sometimes get 'free' flights. Unfortunately these are not really 'free', you will have to pay the taxes and charges which will vary for each airline. Sometimes they will not be cheaper than the full service carriers especially if you are booking at short notice. Avoid flying just before holidays and to destinations holding major events such as big soccer matches, as demand will be heavy.

Increasing TAS in Modern Day Fighters with Expandable Wing Tips
The plane it hit both pilots ejected, however the F-15 is a tough bird with a lot of thrust and it was still under control by its pilot. As the webbing retracts it would run thru a roller system allowing it to take up very little space, as the area it retracts into will also hold fuel tanks and space would be limited. As the folding spar comes back it would provide an end-cap covering the system as well as a small gate or strake on the protruding fuselage/wing tip. Without the wing on the aircraft efficiency would occur in less drag, meaning higher speeds, better range and fuel economy. As the aircraft approached the speed of sound it would be completely retracted.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part IV
Amelia Earhart got an airplane ride in her teens and she was hooked. On a mission that most did not come back from. Why don't they stick up for what is right here and say something? If it were not for our victories in the air in previous wars we would not be able to maintain our countries freedom. Do you honestly think they would vote for more laws in aviation? Certainly not, yet they are the ones who know about such, who are able to change policy. There are so many pilots and so many great people that are pilots.

5 Tips for Stress Free Long Haul Flights
I always start a book a few days before I fly so that I'm already 'into it' before I get on the plane, ensuring a pre-planned slice of escapism. You're 40,000 feet away from everything, make the most of it. Most importantly, enjoy the flight! Enjoy that time away from the mobile phones and the boss and the traffic and relax. Although extremely rare, it is a very dangerous condition. Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) is a constant worry for long haul travelers.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part Two
Both loved the idea, Lance because it was his dream and Dave because he loved the aircraft washing services, which he contracted through Lance after he bought the plane from him. Someone who owned an airplane most likely owned a business, was a farmer, high-ranking executive and if not certainly knew others who were. Lance also got into trouble for flying under a bridge although his friend an FAA Examiner gave him a warning, If you ever try anything like that again, I'll have you thrown in jail, now get the hell out of here!. During this time Lance also became involved in motorcycle street racing, the speed did not bother him much, so he did quite well. Lance was looking to take all his knowledge and bring it to the market on a big scale starting in California and then the Sun Belt States and eventually into Europe.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part II
We will see more computer related accidents in the next several years until their technology is improved and we are forced to re-align our training methods to include flying the plane. An issue I have currently with the newest pilots coming on board at airlines, who cannot really fly an airplane. How could they understand what it means to fly? They are ground lovers. People who fly think more three demisional, like those who build train sets and run them around their display. They were forced to view the world differently and with this knowledge a better understanding.
